Three markets, three different ways a roof fails.

Three-inch stones in Bristol on the Fourth of July. Hail in Dane County. Ice damming at the eaves outside Rochester. Same standards on every build, a different problem to solve in each place.

Connecticut

Farmington

1053 Farmington Ave
Farmington, CT 06032

Connecticut sees severe hail far less often than the upper Midwest — which cuts both ways. Homes here are not built or maintained with hail in mind, and when an event like July 4, 2026 does arrive, the damage is widespread.

Madison, WI

Dane County averages roughly three days a year with severe hail, and April 14, 2026 put four-inch stones on the east side of Madison.

Rochester

1601 Penfield Rd
Rochester, NY 14562

Western New York roofs take their beating from wind, ice, and lake-effect snow load more than from hail. Ice damming at the eaves is the single most common failure we are called out for here, and it is almost always a ventilation and leak-barrier problem rather than a shingle problem.

Verify us before you sign

Licensing, by state.

We carry the registrations required in each state we work in, along with liability and workers' compensation coverage. Ask, and we hand you the certificates.

Wisconsin

Wis. Stat. § 100.65

Wisconsin sets specific rules for residential roofing contractors on insurance work — including limits on how a deductible may be handled and a prohibition on negotiating your claim for you. We follow it, and we will show you the paperwork.

Connecticut

Home Improvement Contractor registration

Connecticut requires roofing companies to hold an active Home Improvement Contractor registration with the Department of Consumer Protection — you can verify ours on the state eLicense portal. State law also bars anyone from adjusting your claim without a public adjuster licence.

New York

County and municipal registration

New York has no statewide home improvement contractor licence — only certain downstate counties and the City of Buffalo require one, and Monroe County is not among them. What does apply here is state law: every home improvement contract over $500 must be in writing, and contractor conduct is enforced by the Attorney General's Consumer Frauds Bureau, which keeps a Rochester regional office. We carry full liability and workers' compensation coverage, and we will show you the certificates.

Reported hail, by market

What the Weather Service logged near you.

Every dot is a hail report filed with the National Weather Service by a trained spotter, emergency management, law enforcement or the public. Bigger and darker means bigger stones. Check whether a storm crossed your address — then check your roof.
